Klaus Ziemer GmbH was founded in 1984 in Mannheim, Germany, as a trade and consulting company for instrumental analysis consumables, primarily for chromatographic methods.
In 1993, a production department was added for the manufacturing of polyurethane foam filters (PUF) for gas sampling. PU foam filters are produced in various dimensions in both uncleaned and cleaned forms.
The company seat was transferred in 2001 to Langerwehe, where the company is still located today.
From January 1st, 2018, the brand “A-Z Analytik Zubehör”, formerly in Langen, with its extensive portfolio of consumables and chromatography supplies was integrated into the company. Since January 1st, 2023, we also take care of the customers of the company Dr. Rembert Forche Chromatographie, Moers. The company was re-named Ziemer Chromatographie GmbH on January 1st, 2025.
The full product portfolio contains the common separation columns for chromatographic methods such as GC, GPC, LC, HPLC, and UHPLC, as well as capillary electrophoresis (CE) of all well-known manufacturers. A wide array of consumables and supplies rounds off the portfolio.
Ziemer Chromatographie GmbH is authorized distributor for products of internationally leading manufacturers for analysis, e.g. IDEX (Upchurch Scientific, Rheodyne), Trajan (SGE Analytical Science, CRS – Chromatography Research Supplies), Thermo Scientific, VICI/VICI Jour, RESTEK, and others (refer to section “Partners”).
In section “Services”, you will find exclusive alternatives to cleaned PU foam filters for gas sampling, to GC liner regeneration, and to surface treatment of glass: silanization – siliconization – HCl treatment.
